I'd firstly like to start with saying how honored I am to be a member of this server, its got so much potential with the script, factions, members etc. We have been faced with the problem from day 1 of having small numbers; most of the current active members have tried to bring new people some of which succeeded. In the bigger picture a few people bringing lets say 10 active people is nothing compared to what we need, the hosted tab was supposed to happen wether it has or hasn't I'm not sure. The point is I don't want to see the server fall and I'm sure you don't, we've all worked too hard for it to just crumble away.
From my knowledge there has been some members recruiting people to the server, be it websites that are related to GTA SA or other means. We all need to work together in bringing people here; now working together doesn't just mean myself and some other people it means us all admins included. I'm sure we all have lives to live and other priorities but it would be nice if people put time into it, I've had many complaints about the lack of activity from both members and admins. I feel if the server is to progress and succeed we need activity from the admin team who are able to work at updates along with members who give us a good look, the factions which have been designed are perfect they are dream designs the only downfall is lack of members.
So once again I'll say we all need to work together, the word about LV-RP is slowly but surely working its way around. We have a large advertisement on SA-MP's forum along with various others, this doesn't mean people cant create more; 10 topics is better than 1. We've tried a reward system for people; IG cash for bringing active members which most responded too well but then it proved to be a one time incentive. So with the help of others we came up with a variety of rewards for people which spurred more members to the server.
I know we as a server have lots of competition with LS-RP and the other LV-RP but we need to prove we're better and more worthwhile, if we can show them our server atmosphere is better with more serious and advanced role-play we'll be laughing. I'm going to make a conscious effort to bring new people to the server along with some other trusted helpers, all I ask in return is the same from you all.
This wasn't intended as a rant or flame its a inspirational topic thats supposed to motivate people, if you want the server to fail just sit back and keep doing what your doing. Otherwise get out there and bring new people in !
